The Boot in High Street is set for a jam-packed bank holiday weekend with busk-a-thon, fiesta, disco and plenty of food and drink to go with it.
A number of buskers will be taking to the stage throughout the weekend, including Shaun Clark, Ann Churchill, Kim Spurrier and plenty more.
Busking across Saturday, Sunday and Monday afternoons at the pub is not all that’s on the agenda for this bank holiday weekend.
Friday night will also see The Boot host a fiesta with a Mexican night, complete with themed dishes, live vocalist and disco.
After a relaxing afternoon listening to a variety of acoustic musicians, Baldock’s party-goers can enjoy a disco on Saturday night, hosted by DJ Danny.
On the cards for Sunday, as always, will be a beautiful roast cooked by landlady Paula, who has received many compliments on all the food served at the Boot, accompanied by live acoustic music each week.
Other upcoming events at pub include three karaoke nights on Friday, September 7, and further dates in October and November.
Stevenage band Rickshaw will be taking the stage on the following Saturday.
Just Dig This will return for the second time to perform rhythm and blues and rock covers on Friday, September 14.
