The annual Baldock Big Lunch saw 250 people turn out to eat lunch together in the High Street on Sunday.
The event, organised by the Baldock Events Forum, brought live music, magicians and children's face painting, as well as a range of food supplied by local buisnesses.
Baldock councillor and Baldock Events Forum chair Jim McNally said: "On Sunday, the High Street in Baldock once again came alive as almost 250 members of the community came together to eat lunch in the sunshine and listen to local musicians.
"The party lasted all afternoon, with fairground rides and close magic at your table.
"We would like to thank all our sponsors, including Knights Templar School & Sports Centre and Maple Tree Consultancy Ltd.
"As ever, the food - provided by local businesses - was brilliant, and the community centre was a real help both before and on the day.
"A huge thank you to all our helpers - without you, we couldn't have done it. Our nominated charity this year was the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust and a donation from the raffle proceeds will be given to them.
"Finally, a big thank you to Jenyo, Shaun Clark and the wonderful LaRoche family who provided us with the great entertainment throughout the afternoon, forgoing their normal fees for the benefit of the community."
The next event organised by the forum will be the Baldock Cycle Challenge on Sunday, July 14.
